St. Cecilias

I am going to check out St. Cecilias this friday.  I have heard many good things about them, but was wondering if there are any not so good things.  Also, which one of their preferred caterers did you choose and why. Thanks!

Hi!  I only had my ceremony at St. Cecilia's, so I can't give you any info on what receptions are like there.  It's a great venue, and we think they accomodated us so well-- even letting us use their internet to broadcast our wedding on the internet for friends overseas!  But, if there was one thing that went wrong, it was that they didn't know there was a ceremony when my sister arrived there to change and get ready.  They were accomodating, and did everything we asked, but that was a bit off-putting.  But really, they went and opened up all the rooms we were supposed to be using, and let us do what we needed and were really helpful after that, and gave us no hassle, so... I guess that "bad" thing wasn't really so bad? lol

I absolutely loved st. cecilia's and i couldn't really say anything bad at all...  We used brann's catering and had a ton of food that was delicious. Carla is the one we worked with and was so accomodating too...... hope this helps out

Thank you guys! Tricky, I'm assuming your experience with Branns was good.  Is there anything on the menu you recommend? I had dinner at the restaurant last weekend, and thought it was ok, but their catering menu was different.  I've been hearing good things though.

we had the slow roasted turkey and roast beef.  I loved the turkey and the dressing....  I didnt really care for any of the chicken selections that we were working with on our menu.  total cost for each person was $15.00 a plate...We did a huge fruit display for hor'deurves as well... That was a big hit.
