Yesterday and today have been completely dedicated to wedding stuff. We finalized all of our music choices for cocktail hour, dinner and the reception, I ordered a surprise grooms cake for Aaron from our baker, We ordered all of our favors and number card holders for the tables at the reception, I got all questions answered that the caterer had for our venue and relayed them to the caterer, and I bought some really cute DIY tags for the favors. OH, plus I got the cutest dress for my shower in Feb and the gifts for my little flower girl and ring bearer.
Today, I'm meeting my FMIL at the florist to finalize everything and then we're going shopping for the cake knife and server, the champagne flutes, and the bridesmaid gifts. I'm going to feel SO much better about everything after we're done today.
I'm also really excited because we've decided to have a party at my Future in-laws' house for all of our friends and family that are part of the wedding. We realized that there are some people in the wedding that have not met each other and we really wanted them to meet and hang out before all of the formal stuff comes around. It will make our big day and all of the events leading up to it much more enjoyable for Aaron and I since there will be no awkward first meetings. My Fi's parents' house is beautiful too so it's a great place to have the party!
I hope everyone else is feeling as good as I am...I've been seeing lots of posts about checks! We're all really awesome at this wedding planning stuff! haha
