Bands for the reception....advice please!

We are getting married in June 2011 in Asheville NC. We are looking for bands for our reception and I just don't know how to do this at all. I've checked some of the music vendor websites with the reviews, but I just don't know how to be sure they will be good. What are your thoughts / opinions...recommendations for bands????

    Try gigmasters.com. They let you search by area and it was really helpful for us. :)

    I just got married a few weeks ago and had the Tsunami Wave Riders play for it.  They are out of Charlotte and were just incredible.  They are a trop rock band, meaning they play classic tropical/ beachy music, but they also do classic wedding songs and classic rock.  They had our wedding guests dancing all night.  They also did the music for our ceremony. Highly recommend them!
