Hotel headache - updated!

So, I had FI pick up our hotel guestlist last night and while he was there, the front desk person told him that there are only 5 rooms left for that weekend. 5 rooms IN THE WHOLE HOTEL. I counted and there are at least 7 people who have not yet booked rooms, and that's being conservative. 

If you all could think happy thoughts for me, that would be great. I'm going to call the GM of the hotel this morning to make sure all of those rooms are saved for our guests. I'm hoping I don't need to find another hotel, especially since our insert cards only have the one hotel on it and by the time the invites go out, it might be useless information!

Oh no, hope it all works out!! I would shoot an email/ text over to those people!  Worst case, it wouldn't be that big of a deal if they had to stay at another hotel (assuming there are more in the area!)

That is crazy!  I would def get in contact with the 7 or so people and make sure they book those rooms asap! Fingers crossed for you!

So, I finally talked to the GM and it turns out whoever told FI that there were only five rooms left was wrong. They still have 45% of the hotel that is unbooked, so we're totally fine. All that stress for nothing!!
