Menu cards?

Do you think we need to do menu cards on the tables at our reception if we're having a buffet? I've never been to one that had them but I think it would be nice for everyone to know their options. What are you guys doing?

  • I voted Yes but meant to put NO. Sorry for the wrong click. We are doing buffet style and are not doing menu cards or even posting the menu. I think it will be just fine.

  • We did a combination of a Menu Card and Thank You card for each of our guests in our colors to bring more of it to the tables, we're having a buffet too. :)

  • We are having a buffet. I don't see a need for menu cards. I am putting some sort of card/tag infront of the food items so people know what it is.
  • I'm having plated meals and I am not doing menus. Even if I was doing a buffet I wouldn't do menus

  • I'm posting a menu on the back of our table numbers since we're using the two sided Tolsby frames from IKEA. I really, really like the look of menus at each place setting, but I didn't want to spend the money on menus and programs, so I opted for programs and the one menu on each table. I have seen people use them though, even when there's a buffet.

  • We are going to do menu cards for our buffet, just because I love reading the menu at events, and also I had an idea for the menus I really wanted to do. But I don't think they're necessary at all.
