FREAKING OUT!!!!!

My seamstress just called and said that my dress won't be ready for my last fitting tomorrow like she promised! I only have one week to go!!!

I went a little crazy and freaked out on the phone... she's had this thing for TWO WEEKS since my last fitting and hasn't even touched it!

I have work all next week until Thursday and appointments every night after work. I have no time to take off for her to "push it back to next week" - what am I going to do if it's not ready??

I told her that she promised me tomorrow and it will be tomorrow. Just call me when it's ready. Yes, I went bridezilla on her. Freaking. Out.

I would have totally went bridezilla and I don't think you said anything to her that was out of line.  She told you a date and she should honor that date.  If for some reason the date had to change she should have given you a well advanced notice.  Not the day before.  I would have been furious!  Hope it all works out and she gets it done tomorrow!

I have been playing phone tage with her for days. She scheduled an appointment for me at a time that I can't make. Did she end up telling you that it would be done??

I wish you luck.. Hopefully she will have everything all ready to go for you tomorrow!! I would of gone bridezilla on her to.

I totally would have flipped on her too. Seriously? The people in this business should know how sressful it is for the bride.  Why cause more?

Tiger, she didn't really commit to yes or no on whether it would be done. I just insisted that I needed it today and told her to call me when it was ready and I would come down. I had my mom and MOH scheduled to come with me to learn how to tie it up and do the bustle, and now neither of them are going to be able to make it. They made plans for later today. I'm SO beyond frustrated. She moved my second fitting back too and that's one reason this last fitting is so late!!

I hope you're able to get in touch with her - I would hate for you to have to go through the same thing!

Andrea - if you can, bring a camera or phone with video capabilities with you and see if someone there can record the woman putting up the bustle.  My FMIL came with me to my final fitting but I'm not sure if she'll be there when we're bustling it up, so she made a video.  I'm showing it to my bridesmaids later today when they come over for a bridesmaids luncheon.

Btw, if it's an under bustle instead of an over bustle, those are super easy.  The woman next to me had that and we were going to record it for her but the seamstress said it wasn't necessary.  You just start at one end and match a tie to a ring and tie it up.  Mine is a little more difficult, they put the strings for the over bustle in with the design and they may be hard to find!!!
