BM dress relief!!

We had some issues with BM ordering their dresses and DB told us that they would be here by March 15th. Well, since our wedding is the 18th I was a little nervous! Two of them got theirs yesterday (one was a different dress but that's another story) and I just called the store and two more are in and the other shipped on the 3rd! I think that's everyone!

 I am just soooo relieved, since almost all of them willl need alterations since the average size of my BM is like a 2. Lol. I'm glad I didn't stress myself out over it since it's all worked out. :-)

I had similar issues. I actually lost my shiit with DB. THey were telling me back in Dec that a few of my BMs were NOT going to have their dress by March 10th. They quickly order, it came in 2 weeks, and I felt like an asss. When I spoke with their rep (bc I DID call) they told me that they quote me a time it would take if they had to make their dresses, and didn't take any account into what they had in stock for average sizes, popular colors, etc. It just blew my mind bc they called me almost daily to harrass me!

I see why they do it, but still. Geesh, between DB and MW, I was being stalked by retailers! I'm totally glad you got yours in and there are no problems

I had the exact same issue with bridesmaids ordering their dresses from DB.  They told me March 15th as well.  The last two of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses.  One came in a week later.  Fortunately our date is the 31st so there's a little bit of time but I hate being so close to deadlines. Glad it all worked out for you

I had an interesting time with my BM dresses and DB. They told me one girl's dress would take 12 weeks due to the color. Well she ordered it super early just to be safe and it only took 2 weeks. Another was ordered in November and it took about 3-4 weeks but it was coming up on the holidays. When it came in they called me 3 times in less than a week but never called my girl about it. The last one took 6 weeks and they never even called anyone about it. I called the day before to check on it and they said it would be in the next. My MOH just went to the store that Saturday to get it even though no one ever called!!

Glad they are all going to be in on time!

OMG I thought I was the only one having problems with DB about my BM dresses. Well I had problems with the BM dresses, my alterations and invitations! They told me that b/c of my color that my girls dresses would take 6-12 week order one of my girls ordered her dress it was back in 2 weeks, my sister ordered her dress they told me that it would be back on 3/12 umm excuse me the wedding is 3/18 that's too close well the dress came in last week YES! 2 more to go when we ordered the dresses they said they would try to get them here by the end of the month b/c one definetly have to be altered. Sorry about the rant

When I ordered my wedding dress (Last January) they told me it wouldn't be in until May. It came in March! Then with my BM dress, they said they wouldn't be in until Feb 24th. (We had just gone on Jan 29th... and it was in 3 days later, on Feb. 1st. I thought that was insane!
