BM Gifts

So this is an area I was really struggling with. I just couldn't make up my mind on anything. Well I finally started buying gifts yesterday.

I decided on getting them decorative wine glasses, each a bottle of their favorite bottle of wine. I ill then get them their favorite candy or chocolate treat. Then a few other things to go with those. That will give them a goody bag full of all there favorite things. I will be so glad to get this finished!

Congrats! This was a little hard for me too so I ultimately went the DIY route...

I've done something a little similar - I bought them each a wine glass that was hand decorated with stones, and each one has different colors corresponding with the BM's favorite colors.  I'm also going to buy them each a bottle of pinot grigio to go with it (there's a brand out there that shares my nickname and is also a good wine so I'm buying them that one).  I also got them each a necklace (not to wear during the wedding) that's a pendant made from sea glass.

I was also debating gift cards for each of them but I haven't decided yet - I'm just not sure what to get for the matron of honor as a gift card, the other two were pretty easy.

this whole thing is kind of a burr in my side too. I already have totes for the day of, little makeup bags that say bm or moh, bracelets for the wedding, earrings for the wedding, and I'm thinking about pashminas. Idk. this just sucks and traditionally in  my area we don't spend much money for "gifts" for the bridal shower.

I had a really tough time with gifts as well. I've only ever received wedding day jewelry as my gift, so it's totally normal and acceptable here. However, I feel like my BM are just going above and beyond anything they should be doing, so I felt obligated to get them more. I ended up going with really cute monogram totes in their favorite color, wedding day necklaces and earrings (although it's so beautiful, I'm sure they'll wear it again), BM tank tops, hangers, and pashminas. I also got my sister who is traveling a lot (for the Vegas Bachelorette and the wedding here in AZ) a manicure/pedicure gift certificate. I plan on getting my MOH something else too, I just haven't decided what to get yet.
