What do you think is a reasonable amount to spend on florals for a wedding? For things like centerpieces, bouquets, ceremony decor, etc? Also, is there anything you're doing to reduce your floral costs? I'm wondering what I should be expecting to pay.
I'm getting proposals back from a few florists and they are all waaay over my budget, about 2 times! We need to get married under a mandap for religious reasons and florists are telling me that they start at around $4k!
For centerpieces, I'm thinking of doing low ones instead of high ones to save money. Maybe using more candles or lanterns instead of flowers. I'm so discouraged though because we didnt want to spend so much on decor since our venue is already naturally pretty. I'm having a call with a florist tomorrow to see if she has any ideas on how we can save money, which flowers are in season at that time, etc.
