So I thought it would be nice to spend some time with her like we use to back in the good ol' days. We did some shopping, went to lunch and stopped by Davids Bridal to look at bridesmaid dresses. I thought it was important to do something with just her and I. She is the only person in my wedding party who is single. Everyone else has a family and/or children. I know it's hard on her sometimes knowing that she's by herself so I wanted her to be the first one I went with brides maid dress shopping.Plus she lives almost two hours away so it's harder to schedule time with her and everyone else. I told all the girls that I'm going to let them each pick out a dress that is something they like and feel good in (as long as it was pool blue, chiffon fabric and knee lenght) She was so excited. She ended up finding a dress and it looked great on her, so she got it. I am so glad I got to spend this time with her and super excited she got her dress. I just really hope my other bridesmaids don't get upset. I don't think they will the are pretty understanding. So in a few weeks I'm going to make an appointment when we can all get together and look at dresses and so they can meet each other. But in all it was a good day!
