Bridal Party Advice

Hi My Fellow March 2012 Brides!!!

I have a question for you all. So my bridal party is made of 5 of my best and closest friends. Only my maid of honor is in my city (Chicago), the other 4 ladies are spreaded out between Michigan and Indiana. Is there any advice anyone could give me about successfully having a  bridal party that is majority of out of state?

    Girl, me and 2 of my girls are in tampa,moh and 2 and one in mississippi! I turned everything bridesmaid over to my MOH and sent out a massive newsletter with dates, dresses and prices! They know everything i need them to know and if i need to communicate anything i tell my MOH and she sends out all the new info! Its hard but if they know what u need from them and they love you it will all be smooth!

    Thanks Mslamorte!!! I am just really nervous about them being so spreaded out. We are in the process of making a group page so that everything will be updated to them collectively. I think I too will place my MOH in charge of it. You made a good point about as long as they know what I need of them. And they do :)

    My only thought of turning everything over to the MOH is it really seems like you dont care. (that is just how i would feel persnally) I'm dealing with a lot of oot bm and i just inform them of everything as the process goes. You selected your wedding party because you love those girls and cant image your day without them, so I think you should be their point of contact, not the MOH.

    I'm in a similar situation. My MOH (little sister) works on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, two other ones live here in Minnesota, and another bridesmaid lives in Utah. I've been thinking about getting a newsletter-type thing going. Any suggestions for going about this?

    Something else I've seen on other boards are "Wedding Planning Websites".  These are to put up your planning ideas but not for your guests to see.  I actually made one on Weebly.  You can click "My Bio" in my signature to get an idea.  Hope this helps.
