Aisle runner suggestions ?

I found out today I NEED to have an aisle runner because my church is carpeted. The lady who  altered my dress put hooks in it to line up how to do the bustle to make things easier for my sister. Then we realized my hooks would get stuck in the carpet. So, I'd rather avoid a paper one. Anyone using a non paper one? ANY advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Aisle runner suggestions ?

  • My aisle runner isn't paper it's more of a cloth fabric.  Think of how the viva towels feel and that's kind of what it's like.  I got it at hobby lobby.  An alternative could be the old fashion plastic aisle runners.  I haven't seen them in the stores since the early 90's but you could probably find them online somewhere.
  • Also, could you maybe put a piece of tape around the hooks to keep them from catching on anything?  Then just take the tape off when it's time to bustle it?
  • I got mine off actually off of theknot.com lol. It's personalized and cost about 100 bucks. I love it :)
