Help with Centerpieces

Hi ladies! So I'm putting together my centerpieces and wanted some help. :) I'm stacking 3 hardcover books, wrapping them in ribbon. They either have romantic titles/wedding theme titles or they are tongue-in-cheek jokes, or they relate to some of the guests in some way, a nod to their interests. Anyway, we made stickers to put on the inside of every book with our names, date, and a thank you message. I want to invite the guests to take a book home with them when the reception is over -- just for them to feel free to browse through whatever we have and help themselves. This is not the only favor, but I thought adding the book to what we're already doing would be a nice touch. But I want to print out a card with a poem that basically invites them to look for something they like and take it. I'm not poetic. Tongue Out Has anyone seen one like this, or do any of you have a quick way with words and have any suggestions for how I could word it in a cute little way that would fit on a small card to display at each table?

Thanks for your perspective. I know it wouldn't work for every wedding, but with our crowd, we feel pretty comfortable with how it'll be received. Our wedding is rather small, confined to mostly people we see regularly, and my teacher/bookloving friends, and the people I shared the idea with loved it. As you ladies know, it's all about knowing our audience. ;-)

"As for letting guests know, maybe you could put some sort of tent card on the table letting them know it's okay to look for a book and to take one home."
This is exactly what I was asking for help with. I fully intend to place a card on each table inviting guests to select a book if they want -- which is the question I posed in my post -- I was just looking for a cute little rhyme or something. Also, at each table, I'm placing books that relate to their interests, as well, tailoring the seating to what I know about our friends.

I'm pretty excited about it, and can't wait to see how they turn out. Thanks!!
