1. Our wedding reception in my opinion is bordering on "typical". What I mean by this is that there is nothing special to it in terms of extras. We were offered to have a ice sculpture martini station and we opted not to, a candy bar, etc. We do want to have something special at our reception, even if it's just a guitar player through dinner (just an example, not sure if we'd actually want that), or something along those lines. I've considered having a big cocktail hour antipasto bar, but I haven't talked to reception hall about it yet and I'm not sure if it's possible. We are already doing a smaller passed h'orderves thing...anyway, what else have you seen at weddings or are you having at yours that is extra special or makes it stand out a bit from the rest?
Oh, for example my friend is having a poutine station at hers late at night. Now, I think that's awesome!
