MOH dress

My bridesmaid dresses came in the first week of November, and my MOH just picked up her dress a few days ago.  Anyway, she sent me a text asking how long it should be, above or below the knee.  I said ideally right at the knee, and she said hers is an inch or so short.  So she just sent me a picture, and it's like 8" short in the picture.  Totally not acceptable.  So tomorrow I have to go to the bridal salon, look at their paperwork and make sure they ordered the extra length, and see if they can rush a longer dress.  It looks as if it's too tight at the hip, so its possible that a bigger size might actually fit a few inches longer.  I just wish she had picked it up when she was supposed to, so we could have had more time to fix it.

No problem, At least your bridesmaids have gotten their dresses only one of my girls have ordered her dress and it came in last week so we will be going Saturday for her fitting and my fitting for my dress so they can start my alterations. I'm starting to stress!!!!

If it makes you feel any better one of my BMs hasn't ordered her dress yet....she's going shopping tomorrow.  This is also a FSIL.  I decided it wasn't my problem if she has to put a rush order in.  I'm sure everything will turn out ok...most bridal salons will bend over backwards to keep brides happy!!

I completely understand how you feel. only 2 out of my 6 have ordered. One of which was ordered close to begining of December and it hasnt came in yet so looks like its takingatleast a month or more!!! The wedding is march 17...I have a group wedding page on facebook so yesterday I sent a message saying I really need them to order, and if they arent ordered by end of JAnuary thenI would be oredring them myself, since I have all their sizes wrote down.
Is this too much? I am just worried they will not have time to get alterations done and Davids Bridal is known fo discontinuing styles...ugh, I'm thinking I should prob order before end of January because they wont come in until End of Feb or beginnning of March leaving only 2 weeks for alterations!!!!
