Got some big stuff done this week!

- cake is ordered
- favours are ordered
- met with minister for pre-marital meeting
- marriage license
- RSVPs have started coming in 33/90 have RSVPed already!
- I saw my fiance's dad's charity band perform last week and they were awesome, so we booked them!
- we booked our honeymoon yesterday. I know it's a little last minute, and I'm glad we booked because the prices went up by $200/person today
- called travel clinic for booster shots before honeymoon
- bought the tealights for our decor, so decor is now done
- booked hair and makeup for my girls
- found rhinestones to replace the missing ones on my cape (family heirloom, worn by all the women in my family for their weddings)
- confirmed food choices with caterer
- finished cake toppers (okay, I have to give my dad credit for that)

Now I have to fight with our university to pay us (research positions) so we can pay for all this stuff. They put in a new accouting system and my FI hasn't been paid since December, and I also missed a paycheck.

    Side note, WTH on not getting paid?  That's just rude.

    <div>Yup. Very frustrating. We are both grad students who have paid research positions. Last time it happened to the staff, they not only cut them cheques within three days, but they paid any overdraft charges and NSF. We've been waiting for over three weeks for them to cut him a cheque. They implemented a new accounting system and its been one disaster after another. Half the financial department quit because of it, so they are understaffed. They did it to me in December, I had to wait until the end of January to be paid because they can't pay you mid-month.</div>
