Invites went out this past Monday (finally)! Buuttt... Wednesday, FI and I got a phone call saying that one of our invites was being held at the post office and in order for the recipient to get the invite, she would have to pay $1.10! We got another phone call from FI dad saying that an invite got returned (FI's parents address is the return address) and the post office said they needed 45 cents more! Why is this happening?! Many invites were recieved, but these weird circumstances keep happening...
Originally when I took the final invite to be weighed they told me it would count as a "parcel" ($1.95) because I have a brooch that seals the invite, which leaves a bump <-- Does that even make sense?? lol! But they said if we stamped it a certain way we could send them out as a "letter" for $0.85... Apparently all post offices are on different pages.. UGHHHH!
