I'm stuck on this as well.  I want to do something special for my parents since they have helped financially so much with the wedding.  I'd like to maybe send them on a weekend getaway but I won't be able to afford it till maybe Christmas.  In the mean time, my photographer is going to do a photo video collage for my parents of pics of us together from when I was a baby till now and put it to music.  So I suppose that could be part of their gift.  I also thought about having photo books made for both sets of parents but that won't be given till we get our photos back.  So I'm really lost.  We may end up giving gift cards for them to go to dinner somewhere.

FH and I are paying for additional copies of the wedding album our photographer will assemble for us.  We may do something additional for my parents since they're paying for 90% of the wedding... maybe a giftcard to a nice restaraunt.

For the gifts they will recieve at the RD - We are doing personalized glasses (beer mugs and wine respectively) for them. Itll have their dresses and names and titles and our date hand painted on them. I also got hankercheifs embroidered as well. FI needs to pick something small to give them all as well. But I do plan on giving my parents something extra after the wedding - I've been keeping my eye on groupon/living social for a nice getaway weekend for them since they are paying for our wedding.

We have four sets of parents to buy for! We're just doing gift cards to restaurants they like - individual picks for each of them. We're also thinking of taking my mom and stepdad on a little mini-vacay since they contributed so much to the wedding.

We just don't have the money right now to buy any of them anything extravagant. Our photographers prices for clone albums were ridiculous, so that nixed that idea.

We are going to wait for our pictures and buy some nice personalized frames for them, also restaurant gift certificates.

We are each going to get our parents a photo album of our wedding pictures. I think we are also going to take them out to dinner the Thursday before the wedding. Our parents still haven't met so that would be a good time for them to do so. His parents live in PA and they very rarely come to KY to see  him so this is the only chance they will have to meet.

At the rehearsal dinner, we have a frame with a poem and a baby picture in it. u can put ur own poem or song lyrics if u want

and then we got them a candle with an engraved holder they can switch to whatever candle-we changed the cnadle to large pillar candles

Our wedding is destination in Vegas and I bought my parents (paying for whole wedding) really good seats at the Beatles Love Cirque show so they have something to do for fun in Vegas after all the wedding stuff is over. They are staying for a few days after the wedding!

For FI's parents (no help with wedding) we are still getting them a little something, probably just a really nice bottle of Crown Royal Reserve! They like to drink!

We're getting canvas printed wedding photos for our parents. The obviously won't get them until after the wedding though. We plan on writing them letters/cards which we'll give to them at the rehearsal. I also plan on getting a copy of I'll Love You Forever for my mom and writing a sweet message inside.
