NWR: Sweetest Fiance

JP and I went to leave for a lunch date this afternoon and what do we see when we walk into the garage? My car has a flat tire. Awesome. We decided to not deal with it at the moment because Discount Tire is apparently closed on Sundays.

Anyway, so while on the way to lunch before I even had the chance to b!tch and whine about the situation, JP offered to switch cars for tomorrow. I'll drive his to work, he'll drive mine. He'll use his lunch break to go get a new tire for my car. This is super awesome because not only would I have to rush out of work tomorrow to make it to a Discount before it closes, but you can only drive 55 mph on a spare tire. My drive to work is 20 minutes and it's highway the entire time, which is a minimum of 65 mph. I'd have to take surface streets, which would take foreverrr. He's currently in the garage putting the spare tire on my car. I love him SO much. :)

I picked a keeper ladies. He is such a sweet, compassionate, and loving fiance. I don't know what I'd do without him and I'm so grateful to call him mine.

  • That is so sweet!!! It really is the little simple things that are so sweet and romantic. You've definitely got a good one!!

P.S. Whit, I'm totally with you. I'm sure I could do those things if I had to but I'm so glad I don't.

  • super sweet Britt!

Im with the girls. Thank god for D. He use to be a mechanic, so anytime anything goes wrong he can generally fix it, and if he cant/doesnt want to, his brother is the manager of the dealership, so we get it at cost haha.

  • That is sweet. I wouldn't be able to drive on a spare either. My drive is about a hour each way (I hate it!) Thankfully he can take care of it for you!

  • I am so incompetent when it comes to anything car related or any "manly" tasks. I don't know how to change a tire. I'd just call AAA to be honest. I'm such a typical girly girl when it comes to things like that.
