I haven't settled on anything yet but I think it will be a song with words. Right now I'm leaning towards Book of Love by Peter Gabriel because FI loves it. If I do that I'll try to sneak it past him so he doesn't know until the day.

i have no idea what the bridal party is walking down to. Ugh. Im still trying to work that out. Oh well, nothing but time right? hahaha

I however am walking down to the first 2 minutes of Red is the Rose..<click. Lyrics below. oh i love it.

Come over the hills my bonny Irish lass
Come over the hills to your darling
You choose the road love and I'll make a vow
That I'll be your true love forever

    Chorus:
Red is the rose that in yonder garden grows
Fair is the lily of the valley
Clear is the water that flows from the Boyne
But my love is fairer than any

It's down in Killarney's green woods that we strayed
When the moon and the stars, they were shining
For the moon shone its rays on her locks of golden hair
And she said she'd be my love forever

My wedding party will walk down to the live recording of Ingrid Michaelson's The Way I Am. I am torn between two songs for what I am going to walk down to. Either Ben Harper's Forever or Ingrid Michaelson's cover of Can't Help Falling in Love. All of the songs would be the lyric versions.

My wedding party will only consist of one couple (MOH and BM), flower girl, and then me...

So we are all walking in to the same song. It's the instrumental version of Hallelejuah by Rufus Wainwright...

All I know so far is that I'm walking in to Pachelbel's Canon in D, and we're recessing to Ode to Joy.

We hired a string trio and I just have no idea what else to pick.  I think we're going to do a hymn during the ceremony, and that will be Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring.

My problem is there are a ton of songs that I love but I don't know what they're called.  My dad would have been the one to go to on that, he LOVED classical music and knew all the composers and which songs were which.  I'm thinking of e-mailing my uncle and asking for his help (he's my dad's twin and they were similar in a LOT of ways, including love of classical music).

Edit: I forgot, I picked Sleeping Beauty Waltz for the flower girl.  I've always loved the song and I know the flower girl likes it.  :)  Might have the BMs process to the same.

I can't remember what my BM will be walking into, its all on a CD and it is at my parents house. But I will be walking into Cannon in D. I was going to pick something else but FI heard this one and really wanted me to use it, plus I really like it.

We chose very eclectic music I guess. We are using a CD with original versions of songs. Bridal party is walking in to "God Rests In Reason" by Jason Mraz (the most beautiful lyrics) and I'm walking in to "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" by Smashing Pumpkins. We're walking back up the aisle to "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley. Can you tell this isn't going to be very traditional? :)

The bridal party is walking down the aisle to an edited version of "Awake My Soul" by Mumford and Sons. I'll be walking down to an instrumental bagpipe/organ piece called "Intro" by Enter the Haggis. Also not your traditional bride and groom. ;-)
