I got so many things done over the 3-day weekend, I'm very proud if I do say so myself.
- I bought my bridal shower dress, although it's too big and I'll need to get it taken in. I'm in l.o.v.e. with it.
- I also bought a super sparkly black skirt and lace top for one of the Vegas nights.
- I bought JP's wedding band, it should be here in 3-4 weeks.
- My MOH and I toured and booked the wedding eve hotel room. We needed something big and spacious enough for 8 girls to stay the night and get ready in the next day with all 8 of us, my mom, and 3 makeup artists/hair stylists.
- We finalized our menu.
- Finished DIYing my ring bearer pillow, flower girl basket, and monogram cake topper.
- I bought the large frame for our seating chart, the frames we'll use to display the drink choices for both bars, and sand for our sand ceremony.
- We booked the makeup artists and hair stylists.
- Quite possibly the most important (and relieving), we've come to a final conclusion on the HM. We've decided on Barbados and we know the exact hotel we want to stay at. We've given all the information to JP's mom (our TA) to see if she can get some sort of deal with flight and hotel. If not, we'll be booking it on our own within the next couple of days.
- Ordered my bridesmaid jewelry.
Now, my big things to work on:
- design the programs and bar signs
- continue searching for two white dresses, one for Vegas and one for the rehearsal
- order (or possibly make) the tulle bows for the reception chairs
- book a wedding weekend hotel
