I've been watching flights to Vegas for my dad.  Well today I saw a non stop flight for $320.  He told me just to book it for him.  Well after searching some more I found a better deal on Orbitz for $299.  So I thought heck yeah and booked it...

Well as soon as I paid for it and got the the final screen I realized i had booked it for the WRONG DATES!  OMG i freaked out.   I saw that I could curtesy cancel it so I started doing that and got on the phone with customer service.  Apparently I will be refunded the whole amount within 5 business days.... And will not be charged a service fee - at least that is what the lady on the phone told me....So hopefully that actually happens.  : /

Well at least his flight has been re-booked for the $320 FOR the dates that actually include my wedding... I swear i'm so over this.

Hahaha. OH NO! Well I hope you get your money back quickly! At least you figured it out right away. ;-)

One time I booked a hotel for the wrong month. i booked it for Feb and it was supposed to be March and I was pre-paying to get the discount which meant no refunds.  It just happened that the dates fell on the same day.  Thankfully the guy at the front desk didn't charge us anything extra and gave us the room.

You will get your credit. I booked our honeymoon flights through Orbitz and was so excited I booked mine in my new last name not realizing I wouldn't have ID. I called and they credited me and I booked it in the right name!

Thanks for the reasurance!!  I've been secretly freaking out that Ithey aren't going to credit my account!  Just one of those days!  Hopefully I'll look back at this and laugh :)
