What's everyone's plans for the week or even just Thursday? Anybody cooking or baking?
We're headed to FI's dad's house for Thanksgiving and I'm in charge of bringing desserts. I'm going to be making a Pumpkin Cream Pie (recipe from the Pioneer Woman), a pecan pie (also Pioneer Woman but pretty standard), and a 2 layer decorated chocolate cake. I'm going to put a turkey on top that I will make out of fondant - my first try at sculpting fondant. I'm also making my best friend/BM's grandmother's birthday cake (Red Velvet) for their Thanksgiving party. Nin is the sweetest woman I have ever met and was always like a grandma to me too since I never had one.
and a side boo...I'll be working the rest of the week so all the baking will be at night. lol.
