Photo booth

Are you doing a photobooth? FI and I are thinking about it, but our photographer wants $900 for it. It would include a guestbook, and special pen, and an attendant. I went to a party with one, and it was fun! I saw on a wedding show someone who had a photobooth, and they put envelopes on each plate, with a poem about the photobooth, and how one strip is their favor, and one is for their book... but I can't remember what it said exactly. Do you have any fun, quirky ideas for this? Thanks!

I've seen where people set up their own homemade photo booth.  I think it could still be fun if you did it the right way and save lots of money.

We are doing a photobooth. But our photographer had a special going on so I got mine for about $550. Do a little shopping around. You might find a cheaper one. They are so much fun!!!!

I wanted one, FI didn't.  Our photog was going to charge $750 for an attendant to take pictures from a tripod with a big red backdrop.  Didn't feel like it'd give the same effect, ya know?  But good luck finding something... I've only been to one event with a photobooth (not even a wedding, it was FI's holiday party last month!) and it was soo much fun!

We're doing a photo booth but got a really great deal so it's only $450. If you have money in the budget I would go for it because I think they're a ton of fun. If not, you could try to set up your own!!

we are doing one! that's a good price.  we got a deal off theknot.com with a local vendor so we were able to include it in our budget! its so much fun! will give peopel something t do between dancing and eating and drinking

nope, my venue won't allow them.  I don't know if I would have wanted one, but the point's moot now.
