What is one thing that WAS on your to-do list for the wedding that you have since decided not to do...

Mine is that I think I've decided not to do programs. We have such a short ceremony, that I don't think they will be missed and it will be one less HUGE project tha twe need to worry about.

I'm definitely going to do menus though!

I was going to strass my shoes - but decided against it because of the shoes i got.

I wanted a photobooth ufortunately it is just not in the budget.

I was really wanting to book a RD restaurant, but we decided to do it at our home instead. Not really so much for the budget (we are going to end up spending probably more to get our backyard RD ready lol), but FI got an AWESOME smoke pit for our wedding gift from an uncle of mine and he is just DYING to use it.

Although I have warned him that we will be busy,  I don't want him tied to grill when we have guests, etc, but he said he really wanted to do it and smoking food doesn't require the same attention as bar-b-quing.

Anyway, no RD restaurant means no booking a contract with a venue...but it also adds stuff to make sure my house is ready for about 40 people and buying food/etc.

I haven't really knocked anything off of my list - if anything I think I've added to it. I wish I could get away with not doing programs - but because their will be a lot of non-catholics at our ceremony, I pretty much need to.

I have crossed off some of my to-do's though.

Because our ceremony is in a church, the program wasn't really something that could go-- mainly because it'll be 45 minutes and include a lot of people doing things in the ceremony.  It'l be nice to give everyone something to look at, if they're not religious and/or bored.

I've given up on menus for now.  I've only been to one or two weddings with them so I don't feel they'll be missed... it more just gives extra color and sophistication at the table settings.

I've also given up on wearing a reception dress.  Just haven't had any luck looking for one and my dress is light enough that I won't mind staying in it all night!

Other than that I really can't think of what else we've decided not to do.
