St. Lucia HM??

FI and I are thinking of going to St. Lucia for the honeymoon but are having a hard time narrowing down resorts and things to do. I know at least a couple of you are going there, do you have any suggestions or research you can share?? Thanks!!

Top suggestion, book soon! We figured out which room we wanted yesterday at lunch, and by the time we were going to book yesterday after work, it was sold out.

We chose Sandals La Toc because it had the most food options of the 3 Sandals resorts on St. Lucia - and that's is what is most important to FI. ;-) We also looked at Fire Mountain (crazy expensive!) and The Body Holiday (a VERY close 2nd). Body Holiday has a free massage each day that you are there! But it also has been under construction for a while and we aren't sure if it'll be done by then. And the Sandals place had the option of a private pool (which we couldn't get by the time we booked).

Anyways, I hope that helps!

Yeah I like the Sandals resorts there because there are three really close together and you can visit each one for free.  So it's sort of like getting 3 resorts in one.

I went to one of the sandals there a few years ago - I think it was the Grand - and we had a great time.  As PP mentioned, you can visit the other Sandals for free and they actually have a shuttle between them

When we considered going to St. Lucia I was leaning toward the more affordable resort (it was called Halcyon back then, not sure if it still is!) just because you could shuttle between resorts.  I figure the room is just for sleeping, may as well pay as little as possible and just spend the day enjoying the other resorts and eating... lots and lots of eating!
