March 2012 Weddings

Sorry for being a PW, but I thought I'd share some pics :)

I have been meaning to add some pics in various posts, so I'll go ahead and contain them all in this post:

Here is a ceremony pic from an open house I went to on Sat. (I went to taste their margaritas) Although I wont be using blue lighting or their table colors, and I'll have my own arrangements, this is where the I Do's are going to go down! That little hallway leads to a bridal suite, but I'm going to be entering through the front door, so all those lights back there will be off.

ETA: I'm still debating on the aisle runner, but I'm probably going to forgo it for the sake of not tripping on it!

These are the mariachis we are hiring. FI and I actually hired them for my dad's 60th birthday last month and FELL.IN.LOVE. THey were great and very professional!:

Below is my new escort board, $30 on clearance and Hobby Lobby. I'll just need to add ribbons and the tent cards :):

I think that's it for now. I'll have to post my gross boquet and it's before and after. I still haven't fixed it :/

  • How big is your escort card board? We're expecting about 120 people and are trying to figure out how big of a board we need. We'll put couples together on one card, so we'll probably end up with about 75 cards.

That board is 2ft. x 2ft. I decided to do the escort cards by how we sent out the invitations (by family household and adult couples). I found out that I was able to do 10-12 ribbons going across and fit about 6-7 per ribbon. I think that 75 would be doable :)
  • Cute! Your mirachi band seems like a lot of fun!

This is the same reason I will be forgoing an aisle runner, too! I'm so clumsy, I don't want to chance it. Glad I'm not the only one!
  • Your venue is really pretty!
