Anonymous Gift?

I don't think it meant to be anonymous, but FI and I got a gift from BBB in the mail yesterday with no card or name attached.  It was a featherbed mattress cover, which was pretty much on my top 3 registry gifts list, and now that I have it, I have no idea who to thank!!!! We noticed it came from a NJ BBB but the only guests we know from NJ/NY said they didn't send it....

Oh yeah and we also have 3 duplicates already, before we're even married.. 2 from Macy's and 1 from BBB.. urg...

Anyone else have an anonymous gift and/or registry duplicates happen?

We got one the other day and I couldn't find the sender for the longest time. YOu may have already looked there. But on the packing slip on the bottom left corner there is a box that says "Ordered By" and it should have a name and address.

Also, try calling the registry dept. at BBB and see if they can look it up.

thats crazy!!!! ive actually only gotten 1 gift so far in the mail and it was a BBB gift card. but it had a card with it. im surprised they sent it with out any information on it.... im sure you will figure it out though. i bet they will call and say did you recieve my gift?? ... hopefully lol!!

I got one, but our registry is on Amazon.com, so it's much easier to track that way because thay have to use their name. I really don't know how they can track in the store though. What if someone paid cash? They'd have no way to get their name or anything. Maybe just ask around with guests?? Say we really love these sheets (or whatever), but can't seem to find the name of the sender. Sometimes people talk to other people about what they're buying.
