Vendor Rave: Invitations!

Hello Ladies! I just had to rave about a particular vendor! What a hidden gem! I am using a small business in Williamston called Limner Press (limner@limnerpress.com) for my save the dates and invitations. They specialize in letterpress printing. It is owned and operated by a married couple whose names are Don and Wendy. Don is the printer, and Wendy is the artist! What a great marriage of talents! Don is a 3rd generation printer who has been printing since he was 12, and he has been doing this for over 50 years. Wendy is a brilliant artist who specializes in graphic design. The business is very small and quaint and my fiance and I fell in love the minute we drove up to the location. We just knew it was the right place for us. Not too corporate, not too commercial, wonderful personable people, excellent service, and a local business we feel great about supporting. Don even showed us how he works the printing machines which are all pre-World War II era machinery, including some of the letters and engravings. It was incredible! They do all styles of invitations. Our invitations are being printed on Crane's 110 lb. ivory cotton paper with a dark plum ink, using Copperplate and Vivaldi script fonts. They even created a simple monogram for us, and did our save the dates for $10! I highly recommend them!

It was $10 for all 50 save the dates! Since we were already doing our invitations with them, they just threw them in for $10. Also, we were originally only going to print 30 invitations, and now we are printing 50 invites and they are not charging us extra for the difference. You should definitely check them out! They are such genuine people!

wow this place sounds fabulous!  Would you mind emailing me about the price per invite and if they included response cards?  I'm also on a budget on stationary and originally was going to try and DIY, but this place sounds like a dream come true.my email is: danielle.worthy@gmail.com

I tried to order from them. They took almost a week to email me back and when they did they quoted me much much higher for the invites( I didn't even tell them what kind of design I wanted or anything like that). They must like you! I'm sad because I hoped to use a local vendor.
