Hello Ladies! I just had to rave about a particular vendor! What a hidden gem! I am using a small business in Williamston called Limner Press ([email protected]
) for my save the dates and invitations. They specialize in letterpress printing. It is owned and operated by a married couple whose names are Don and Wendy. Don is the printer, and Wendy is the artist! What a great marriage of talents! Don is a 3rd generation printer who has been printing since he was 12, and he has been doing this for over 50 years. Wendy is a brilliant artist who specializes in graphic design. The business is very small and quaint and my fiance and I fell in love the minute we drove up to the location. We just knew it was the right place for us. Not too corporate, not too commercial, wonderful personable people, excellent service, and a local business we feel great about supporting. Don even showed us how he works the printing machines which are all pre-World War II era machinery, including some of the letters and engravings. It was incredible! They do all styles of invitations. Our invitations are being printed on Crane's 110 lb. ivory cotton paper with a dark plum ink, using Copperplate and Vivaldi script fonts. They even created a simple monogram for us, and did our save the dates for $10! I highly recommend them!
