DJ recommendations

Hey All,I'm getting a little behind on securing important vendors, one of them being a DJ. Do any of you have any recommendations on who we should use? Our wedding and Reception will both be in Lansing. So far I am thinking of contacting Push Play DJ's and W.E.D. I am also looking at cost, and trying to keep it to as minimal as possible. TIA!Megan

I'm using W.E.D. and am extremely happy with them. I've seen them at other events and loved Matt's work plus the price for unlimited hours and the support is fantastic! I would definately at least schedule a meeting.

We used Jump Start DJ's for our reception and were happy with them.  When you schedule a meeting with them all they do is give you the information, answer your questions, and give you a packet with the contracts and info.  There was absolutely no pressure to book them which was nice since some other vendors were pretty pushy about booking.  He just said at the end of the meeting if we chose to go with them to send in the contract.

We used Music Unlimited out of Grand Ledge. He did a great job and charged us $400 for 6 hrs.

I had Complete Music. We specifically chose Mickey Sawyer. He was fantastic!

I'm using Real Deal DJs and am excited to work with Jon. He is $675 for unlimited hours and definitely worth a meeting!

I used Tunes by T for mine, they did a really good job.

I agree with the posting about WED. I just booked their DJ services with Matt and they have been awesome so far. Lynn is great at keeping in touch and after meeting Matt, I know he will do a great job for my fiance and I. I think their prices are very reasonable too!
