Ceremony
Ceremony Site-
Chapel at Hawk Hollow A+
Not only a gorgeous ceremony venue, the staff at hawk hollow/ eagle eye (Carla Adams, and Sarah Cole) were absolutely wonderful. I booked this site about 1 year and 1/2 - any question or idea I had, I simply had to email & I would get a response within 24 hours. This also goes for the reception venue at Eagle Eye - hillside room.

Everyone loved the words of the ceremony. The ceremony was current, emotional, and very nice. The only thing I do have to say is that during the "Parents Thank You" she forgot to mention my dad's name. Very few people caught this mistake.
Ceremony Music- A
Leslie Hamel- Four Seasons Quartet
The one thing I didnt get to hear very much. Although, they were lovely from the parts i did hear (like walking down the aisle )

Eagle Eye- Hillside Room A+
Such a wonderful space. Again , working with Carla and Sarah was wonderful experience. The facility was full with 3 other events- you wouldnt have even guessed. We did not hear anything. The space was warm and inviting, colors were elegant. and the guests absolutely were amazed.
Caterer

We chose the 10 oz. Hawk Eye Strip Steak, and the Chicken Florentine, Plated. Everyone was blown away by how delicious everything was.
Chair Covers/Linens

Dawn contacted her linen vendor to get the linens in colors of chocolate brown, crushed champagne- everything matched the decor. She put on the linens and took them off. Definitely worth the extra expense
Bakery
A Piece O' Cake - Kelly Kobus A+
Again- such a great job in decorating the cake. Came to her with an idea and theme, and she sketched a picture, took a fabric sample to match the colors with the edible flower. And the cake itself was sooooo delicious.
Sweetie- Licious Pie Company, DeWitt A+
YUM! I ordered 8 pies in seasonal flavors. The guests were absolutely amazed by how delicious they were. These pies are award winning, and all the guests were raving.
DJ
Millennium Entertainment- Michael A
The DJ was pretty good. Very nice, did his job well. It just seemed to go by so fast. Wish he wouldve started playing "younger" music sooner to get more of a crowd on the dance floor. But I guess you cant drag them out there.

My aunt put these together with bows on top, and m&m's inside. In the end, I wish I wouldve gone with something more practical. They were expensive. However, the kids really enjoyed them

Barb was great. Made centerpieces for us. and ordered linens, we came in and "sampled" a few dishes. She had great reccomendations, and really worked with us and our budget. Also had an option for a slideshow!

I could not rave more about the excellant service we received from our driver Dawn. She did everything from picking up my dress, to going to meijers and rite aid mulitple times to get cold medicine, diapers, diet coke for a bridesmaid..you name it she was there to get it. She even poured champagne / oj while at the hair salon. she was really, SUPER nice , and accmmodating. Absolutely wonderful. Ask for her !!!! ($1000- all day )

Dawn was SOOO incredibly great. she has such great taste. I basically lte her run with any ideas she had. I had full confidence that she would deliver an elegant, vintage wedding, and she did! the space was sooo beautiful. I wouldnt have even met with anyone else. To us, no one compares with style, uniqueness, and she was extemely helpful. She helped us save too! By transporting some of the ceremony florals to the reception. AHHH...and I bet I met with her a handful- if not more , times before the wedding. Anytime I wanted to come in and let her know of some different ideas that I had...she's so great!!

This happened by chance. Her sister is in my class at school & I invited her sister , and Accalia asked if she could come and shoot some pictures just for fun. Her pictures were stunning and I got them right away (CD). She has very resonable rates. Much lower than what I paid. If anyone wants her ## or email..message me!

Erv did a great job. the video included the "love STory" that he taped about a month before the wedding & it was about how we met, and what we want to say to one another. it was very special. and he was very discrete. We likedhim, but didnt know he was even there!

Best Idea Ever! Kept the guests busy all night, and got some pretty incredible pictures. I made a prop box & got their add-on scrapbook. it was ready for me when the night was over. such a nice, instant gift. people were having so much fun! even my grandmother got in there! would definitely recommend this!!!

At first , I had ordered the dress. It came back, and was huge. not sure if the size was ordered wrong- or what. Finally talked to the store owner, and they were able to help right away. Within 1 week they sent 2 smaller sizes for me to try on. Everything turned out to be perfect.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! My bridesmaids were so disgusted by the lack of customer service. They sent the dresses out the door without being pressed & expected them to go back & wait longer to have them pressed. I'm sorry, if you call someone to let them know that there dress is ready for pick up, then it should be ready, pressed and all. One associate didnt even tell my bridesmaid that she needed it pressed (this was her first ever wedding she had been in), another bridesmaid had to go back to get hers pressed in between the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner because it wasnt ready (and at first they couldnt find it- lost another poor girls dress) SO UNORGANIZED. Would recommend that NO ONE go there. And being the bride I am very upset that they let my bridemaids walk down the aisle with wrinkled dresses.

Absolutely amazing. I had extensions for my wedding & annie does such a good job with them. Got a case for them, had me come in a few times to get them custom to my head. She works unbelievably hard & very personable. Very cool lady.
Makeup

Not only is she the lead makeup artist for douglas j, teaching advanced makeup at the DJ Academy, also works on photo shoots ( Look for her in SELF Magazine in Dec!!) It was a blessing to find her. She did all of my bridesmaids, and mothers, and myself. She uses airbrush which feels very natural , and nice- doesnt move when you cry. She is such a nice person, very professional & knows what she is talking about.

 actually I used ETSY.COM for alot of unique items that everyone raved about. Everything is handmade on that site. I had SIgns, Table numbers, sand ceremony container, escort cards, chicken or beef stamp, my purse, FG couture headbands, my hair clip, programs, menus, floor decal, EVRYTHING! that website was my savior!!

Thanks for all the info! I'm so happy to hear all the great things about Perfection Limo too. We booked them for 3 hrs. I would LOVE to get them all day. It would be so much easier when coordinating transportation to the chapel, and hair and makeup and all that. I might contact them about upgading to the 8 hour package. I'm not sure! I'll have to discuss it with FI.

We are having our reception at Hawk Hollow, so nice to hear the things about the food and staff at Eagle Eye. I'm also very intrigued by the Lett's review. That's where I was planning on starting with my bm's. Definitely gives me something to think about.

I'm so glad you posted the Lett's review. After reading it I did a google search for reviews. There are some awful ones! And most people say the same thing - they are rude and the dresses never come in when they are supposed to. I will still go into the store and look around for ideas, but I will be doing this before I go with the bm's.

Next thing I'm doing is looking for reviews on Pierre's.

I did get the FG dresses from Pierre's. At first, they came in complete wrong style. I told them that this was not the dresses that we ordered. They were quick to fix the problem. we ended up getting the FG alterations there as well, and they were pretty good. You just have to be on top of things with them, I called them numnerous times to get a "status" update on when the dresses would be in.

Yea, definitely NO LETTS. I still cant believe they let my BM's walk out of that store with wrinkled dresses, and told them to come back. Hello? they were there then! why would you inconvenience them by having them come back? I just dont understand...as you can see- still fuming....
