Hey Pittsburgh brides!  I introduced myself several months back but then fell off the wagon a bit with posting, but ready to get back into it.  Anyway, I'm getting married on 9/24/11 at St. Thomas More in Bethel Park and reception at Rolling Hills Country Club in McMurray.  Photographer (Melissa Distel) and DJ (Mark Zini) are booked and getting my dress next weekend (appointments at MB Bride and Carlisle's.)  It's all coming together!

Fiance and I have been together for 7 years and we live outside of DC - which certainly makes planning a challenge but we are figuring it out.

Oh! And save the dates are getting mailed this weekend - yay!

Ok that was long. Can't wait to get to know all of you!Smile

    welcome (back)! LOTS of the brides on this board are in the DC area... you're in good company.

    hope you post often.  Any dress ideas?

    Welcome back! I'm also using Mark Zini for my May 28th wedding! woohoo for your STDs! Do you have any pictures?? Glad you're getting some great checks done and hope you stick around and post often!!

    Welcome! I live outside of DC too, what part? I hear ya on the challenge of planning from long distance- even though it doesn't seem that far away it takes many weekend trips. My wedding is the week before yours and I haven't gotten to my STDs yet.... ooops! Congrats on the checks.
