Wedding/Engagement Photos

I am not from the Lansing area but I am getting married here. I am trying to find fun and unique places to take photos for the engagement and wedding day. We are already planning on going to MSU campus but I want some other pretty places. Any suggestions?

    What time of year are you looking at? where are your ceremony and reception? do you want urban or rural locations?

    Downtown Lansing and Old Town Lansing are both unique! Both have easy access to the River Walk also. Any Lansing photographer should be familiar with them. I work at MSU and do frequent photography for work, MSU is pretty standard... gardens, buildings, etc. If you do use MSU I suggest the 4-H Children's Garden on campus, very unique :)

    We are getting married in August. The church is in downtown Lansing and the reception is at Hawk Hollow. Thanks for everyones help!
