This board is pretty dead today. Anyone wanna talk about shoes?

Where did you get yours? Are you going with the white/off white to match your dress or doing another color completely?

Are you buying online or locally?

I haven't decided what color I'm going with...I like the idea of a completely different color, but I don't know how good it would look with my dress. The dress is ivory and has lace with some champagne and gold overtones. I feel an ivory shoe might be my best bet there. I was thinking about putting a colorful flower in my hair, though.

I'll probably look at DSW and a few other local places. I don't buy shoes online, because the different shoe brand sizes fit me differently. Especially in heels, because I have wide feet. I definitely need to try on in store!

I bought mine at Nordstrom. FI is only a few inches taller than me, so I wanted a low heel...I also ended up picking a total comfort shoe! My dress is light ivory, and the shoes are champagne-colored. I think I'll last in them for most of the night.

Just to add, we got the BM shoes online from DSW. I was open to them picking out their own shoes, but no one was taking any initiative, so I picked some styles off their & told them to choose! And they all liked the same ones.

I got my shoes from DSW. If you go shopping there and find something you love though, I would advise buying it right away and not waiting cause they sell out of colors and sizes aweful quick.
I bought a pair of heels that seemed really comfortable, and were, till about 6 hours in them, and then my feet hurt really really bad. But they lasted a good 5 to 5 and a half hours before getting painful. Through dancing and everything.
I customized my shoes too with flowers to match the flowers in our hair.

DD got hers at DSW.  They are cobalt blue to go with her theme.  She also got a navy pair at Younkers that we then decided against.

Zappos has a great return policy if you want to buy online.

I initially wanted blue shoes as my something blue as blue is not in my wedding colors at all, I was talked out of it But found some very comfy cute silver ballet flats at DSW, my dress is bright white and has silver accents...LOVE them!
