Mani/Pedi Advice

I am planning on taking my MOH for a mani/pedi trip before the wedding but have no idea where to go.  The last mani I had at Presteige lasted about 24 hrs before everything just came off.  I want something that will last for the wedding and honeymoon and look good.  Any suggestions here in Lansing?

I'm  not exactly sure what it's called but there is a really nice one in the Eastwood Towne Center near Maggie Moo's. It feels much more upperscale to me than the other places in Lansing I've been. Although, I must admit that I do not frequent the upperscale salons so I suppose my opinion there may be off base.

I've never had an issue with my pedicures not lasting long from there. You may want to mention that you've had the problem in the past and they may put some extra protective coats on for you or something.

    Good luck!!!

The key is that they clean your nails with acetone before polishing. You can go anywhere and just make sure they clean your nails off with acetone right before polishing.

I used them for mani, pedi, waxes, you name it. They're newer and young staff. love them!

There is a great place in Okemos....on the corner of Okemos and Jolly Roads.  Same strip mall area as the 7-11.  You can get a spa pedi for $30 or add the mani for just an additional $10.  Very reasonable prices and my mani/pedi looks flawless for 3-4 weeks!

Is that one in Okemos Salon Red? I've heard of them. Has anyone tried Douglas J institute for their services? I just got my hair cut there for the first time, and I swear it's one of the best hair cuts I've ever had - and only for $16. I'm going to try a pedicure there next. I think it's $29.
