invisalign

Any brides get invisalign before the wedding? If so, were you satisfied? I've need braces for quite some time and have always been insecure about my smile, but even more so now that I'm looking for photographers and seeing all of the beautiful wedding pics with brides and their straight teeth. Thanks...

Im not, but if you do it, just make sure you go to an orthodontists, not just a general dentist who is certified in invisalign.

I was actually considering getting invisalign before the wedding, but was told it won't help my teeth enough, they suggest reg braces!   I had braces in high school, but never wore my retainer afterwards and since my wisdom teeth came in, my teeth have shifted!  I am feeling the same way you are, very insecure, but now that I have just over 9 months until the big day, nothing I can do about it now!  UGH!!!

I had them and LOVE them!!! Plus most providers add in free whitening! :)You use to get $50 off if you were referred by a friend. Give me your email and I'll try to refer you!The only major down fall I found about them, was trying to keep them clean and smell free. My Dentist recommended soaking them in mouth wash. It helped but not as much as I would have liked. Most of the time people never even knew I had them on!! It takes about a month to get use to talking with them in ,etc too.GL!!! They are soo nice!! I loved my results!

Married678, where are you located?  And what orthodontist did you go thru?  I am debating getting these even though they will not fix my teeth 100%, at least it would be better than what they are now!  How long did treatment last? Please email me if you can, Luvngrl247@comcast.net

I had them a few years back and hated them. It could have been the orthodontist I used that made the process so difficult though..he was a dbag. Anyway invisalign takes longer than regular braces. If time is a concern I would go with regular braces. I ended up ditching the invisalign and have regular ones now. I got the clear glass kind instead of the metal and they aren't nearly as noticeable. I should be getting them off in the next few weeks and I'm SOOO glad I did it. I was really self conscious about it, but after I got used to them it wasn't bad at all. If you do go for invisalign I found that soaking them in a denture cleaner worked best for cleaning and the smell. I had a hard time keeping mine clear though..they always ended up with a yellow tint to them no matter what I did or avoided eating.
