REHEARSAL DINNER LOCATIONS DOWNTOWN INDY

What are some good places to have a rehearsal dinner in downtown indianapolis?  There will be 50+ people invited.  Please let me know your thoughts.  Moderately priced (meaning Sullivans, Ruth's Chris, Flemmings are all out)Thanks

I am a fan of the Ram Brewery, and they have a lot of seating, I am sure they could accomidate you.  I'm not sure if anyone has a private room, do you need one?

We had ours at The Rathskeller and loved it.  Ours friends just had their's there as well and it was again great.  They will work with you to customize however you would like.  We were able to pick dishes in our price range and create a special menu for our guests to order off of.  Our friends did a buffet with appetizers before.  They will set up whatever you want. www.therathskeller.com

The Rathskeller is a good idea too.

Second that the Rathskellar would be fun!!! I used to work at Scotty's and we had these things all the time- it's nice because they have more private rooms you can reserve and they can hold 50- I just hate to thinka bout not having our own space! It's a little more casual/lots of beer but if that suits you then go for it! GRAET food too

We had ours at Greek Islands and it was great! We had a smaller group so we had it in the main restaurant but I believe they also have a separate banquet space. The food was amazing and the flaming cheese really encouraged a festive atmosphere!

We are doing ours at Buca di Beppo. You get the entire room for yourselves, one set price per person (3 course meal) and they keep bringing food until you stop eating it. LOVE IT!!! Their food is amazing. It is very VERY reasonably priced too!!

In response to a previous post suggesting RAM....I am sorry but have to disagree. I had a terrible experience at RAM and after I spoke with the manager was even more disappointed because he didn't really seem to care much that my bachelorette party dinner was terrible, service was even worse. His only response was that our server was new. WTF!? why would you give a NEW server a party of 12 coming in for a special event??? Bad management! We are doing ours at Bucca also. Another great place downtown would be the old spaghetti factory!
