I'm trying to figure out a good place to get alterations done in the South Bend area. I bought my dress at Bernardo's, but I'm worried that it will be really expensive to get the alterations there. Does anyone have any experience with Bernardo's? Also, does anyone have any other recommendations for good places or people? Thanks!

    A friend of mind got her alterations done in Middlebury at an Affair to Remember. Her bridesmaids got their dresses altered at Stephenson's in Elkhart and they said the alterations were very reasonable and very well done. I bought my dress off the rack and it fit (well, it did fit, I need to lose about 5-10 lbs to fit back in to it, Boo!). So, I don't need to get any alterations done, just get the dress cleaned up a bit. I wish I could be more help. I have the name of a lady who works out of her house, that I got from our receptionist at work. I don't have her information with me. I can get it for you if you would like her name. It doesn't hurt to call. Good Luck!
