We had our rehearsal dinner at Binkley's Kitchen and Bar.  It's a cute, modern type of place and their food is very tasty.  It's not on the strip with all the other places though, it's off of Kessler and College.I remember going to an Italian restaurant that was pretty good but I can't remember the name of it.  I've also been to the Corner Wine Bar, it was good too.  Just do a google search of Broadripple restaurants and see if they have a website that shows their menu and pictures of the restaurant.

    I second Binkley's.  Here's  they're web address: http://www.binkleyskitchenandbar.com/Also, if you're looking for a bar/restaurant type place, there's Moe & Johnny's...they've got great food but it is more of a college bar.  http://www.moeandjohnnys.com/home.htm

I second Binkly's and Yats. But- Binkley's is EXPENSIVE too IMHO. No mexican makes me cry a little :( la piedadddd! I like Union Jack's but more for the atmosphere. CHEAP but good is Noodles & Co but really, that's not a place to take anyone. I LOVE the Indian place (I forget the name! but it's in the shopping center on BR ave just across from the McDonald's next to a place that has a big BISCUITS sign.) It's amazing Indian. I think it's like Shalmiar? I think Broad Ripple Brewpub is good, and well priced, but the amazing-ness depends on the dish- usually when we go one of us is eh and one of us is wow'd. BUT the brews are great. Try the Lawnmower Ale And my absolute fav... Bazbeaux pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Upscale for pizza, but affordable. LOVE it.

Whoops I thought someone said Yat's- it's a Creole-type food place (I think that's the word for it... like a lot of hot food and beans and stuff) and I don't care for the type of food but everyone I know is OBSESSED with it.

The Indian place across from McD's is Shalimar. India Garden on the strip is also good. @ Kelly--you don't even like Yat's garlic bread? It's the best!
    Matt loves Munkii!!!

Hi there! I live in the Ripple and eat out quite a bit. Binkley's is a great choice. They have a nice space, separated from the main dining area that is great for small groups. I also recommend the Corner Wine Bar for a great steak. If you like really authentic Italian, I highly recommend Ambrosia. The atmosphere is very romantic and the owners, who are from Italy, are very warm and sweet. I have heard great things about the Canal Bistro and they have just expanded. If you like sushi fusion, Naked Tchopstix is wonderful. The Broad Ripple Brewpub also has a great menu and a really nice dining space, but they can be very busy on Fridays. Another great restaurant steak and Italian is Marco’s, located at 54th and Keystone. Yat’s servers a great jambalaya, but I’m not sure it’s rehearsal dinner material and can be quite crowded at times. I think the Jazz Kitchen is a swanky place, I know they have a space for large groups, and they have great wine list, but I think their menu options are limited. I suggest when picking a couple restaurants and go sample their food and service, even if it’s an appetizer and a glass of wine. Plus it’s an excuse to get together with your soon to be hubby and have a date night. If find a restaurant you really like, that offers specials during the week ask if they will honor the special for a large group on a non-special night….it can’t hurt to ask! Hope this helps out and good luck!
