I am new to this town and have been here 10 months. Never gotten around to making friends because I was so wrapped up with family life nd the whole planning a wedding.

So now the wedding is over and I am bored. Anyone wanna do a GTG in the Fort Wayne area?

Not in Ft. Wayne but thought I would tell you the best kept secret around the country to help broaden your social circle. Check out www.meetup.com It is all over the country and it is like minded people coming together to do things with others. I am here in Indy and belong to the hiking group, singles over 40 (they are grandfathering us in since we made quite a few friends in the group in the 2 years or so I started dating), a work at home womens group and even a euchre group that meets tonight that we both really enjoy. If you venture onto the site, just look at what you enjoy be it coffee, wine, movies, what have you and you should find something you would like to do while spending time with others.
