Fort Wayn Area Reception Sites

I am just recently engaged and we have started looking for reception sites in the Fort Wayne area. We have a lower budget and we would really like an outdoor venue. Any ideas? We have found some places but they seemed to "stuffy" for us. We are alos running into the problem of wanting alcohol at our recption so this leaves the public parks out. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

Have you checked out Metea County Park? My cousin had her wedding/reception there, and it was beautiful. They do allow alcohol, but you have to have security officers and a bartender. They don't do catering, but their rental price is pretty cheap for the area.

Have you checked out Salomon Farm?  I'm not sure what their alcohol policy is.  It's a beautiful location for an outdoor wedding and reception though!

You can have alcohol at the Farm. You can also have alcohol at Headwaters Park, but I'm pretty sure the fee for it is crazy expensive.

Swan Lake Resort is 1 hour and 15 min from Fort Wayne, but hey have an outdoor gazebo and they have outdoor areas for tents and reception area indoors as well.  www.swanlakeresort.com
