Reception Venue

Hi there!! I'm looking for ideas for a reception and ceremony location in Indianapolis.  I have been looking at the Indiana War Memorial and wondered if anyone has had their wedding there and what they thought!!

    I am getting married at the Indiana War Memorial in exactly 3 weeks! We chose there because they give discounts for the military....so if you are fiance are military they do 50% off rooms. We are not doing our reception there due to price contraints (catering, buying linen wise) but they have an extensive list of approved caterers, florists, bakers. We are getting married in the Pershing Auditorium which is $1000 for non-military, but they have other rooms that are around $300-$1000. They have tables and chairs, you provide decoration. If you are looking to contact anyone I can give you the number and email of our go to person at the War Memorial in a PM.

    We are having our reception at University Place Hotel & Conference Center on IUPUI's campus in their ballroom, its a gorgeous hotel!
