Location/Photographer in Lafayette

Hi. I am helping a friend plan a wedding in Lafayette. Non traditional, artsy bride looking for an outside the box, i,.e. non church-y, venue. We have thought about Lafayette Theatre, but need other suggestions as well.

They are also looking for a good photographer that won't cost an arm and a leg. Any suggestions for that would be appreciated.

I am sure there will be more, but these are the most pressing things...

I'm a photographer myself, so I was pretty picky when it came to choosing a photographer for my wedding. I ended up choosing Stories Photography (http://www.storylandfarm.com/) because Julee was different and I liked her artistic style. She is also reasonably priced, compared to other local photographers.

So you might give her a try.

If she's interested in something more rustic there is exploration acres which is right outside of Lafayette.  He has a meadow for ceremony as well as a really nice barn that he uses just for events.

you can also use the Trails, Prophetstown state park, white horse winery in monticello, Coyote crossing golf course.

photographer - Dan & Julie Rhine. They will both be there for your full day and just have 1 package so you dont have to pick and choose what you want to pay for.
