Joe's Crab Shack

So Wednesday is our 1 yr anniversary since FI proposed and he wanted to go out to dinner.  His pick was Joe's Crab Shack which works for me except I've heard bad things about the one down in Station Square.  Anyone have a bad experience there?  I'd rather not have to drive out to Robinson just for dinner.  Any input, as always, would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything about the restaurant but just wanted to say happy (early) 1 yr!!

LOVE the food. I hate when the wait staff get up and sing and dance out of nowhere - which happens here and there when a certain song comes on. Otherwise, it is yummy..if not a bit pricey. Have been to both and St Square was no different than Robinson. What have you heard? Hope that helps, lady. Happy early engagement anniversary!!

I've been to both lately and the coconut shrimp was great in both locations.  I also hate when they dance.  It was the middle of the afternoon and the place was empty so they were dancing for 5 people.

I'm been to Joe's Crab Shack in Station Square quite a few times, mostly for lunch since I work down here, but I've never had a bad experience.  If it's a nice day, it's nice to sit outside by the river!  And you definately need to get the banana foster dessert!!

Happy One Year!! Love Love Joe's Crab shack!! They closed the one here in Ohio and still continue to show comercials for it. Have fun!

Molly - My one coworker went down with her family on a Saturday afternoon and she said they had to wait for like an hour and a half for their food and most of the stuff was wrong and they were out of a lot of stuff and substitute some of their choices without telling them.  It sounded like an awful experience. Kelly Rose - I will ALWAYS take coupons   I really doubt they'll ask for ID - THANK YOU! mmm coconut shrimp and bananas foster sounds SO good right now! Thank you, ladies, for the well wishes as well!

Kim, the funny thing is that I don't eat any seafood either, but I still love the place.
