I think out of that list, toddlers and tiaras. Mainly because the whole beauty pageant thing scares me, especially for kids that age. I think it has the possibility of giving them complexes about their looks - and isn't a beauty pageant the reason that mom was giving her kid botox injections? And many of the kids on the show either seem like they don't want to be there, or they're all tantrummy because they're too tired.

The other one that bugs me is the sweet 16th shows. This one girl had this massive party and her parents bought her a sports car. She threw an almightly strop and starting breaking things because it was the wrong colour/car or something. Reminds me of my cousin, though she's not quite at that level yet.

I have to admit I don't watch any of those shows.  I have seen a few minutes of Toddlers and Tiaras and 19 Kids and Counting but that is it.  The general premise of T&T disgusts me though.  Kids have enough problems growing up today without that crap when they are little.

I have to say while I agree with you ladies about T&T also 19 kids and counting is just stupid. Stop giving them money to do the show and maybe they will stop having kids. Their life is completely out of hand and I can't even stand to watch it anymore! Although I think Jersey Shore is stupid I will admit that I actually watch it sometimes.

I hate all of them and have avoided watching them. However, if I needed to pick one it would be T&T. At least the adults on the other shows have the choice to humiliate themselves in front of the world. The Dugger kids don't have that choice I guess, but i don't think their lives are quite as messed up as the beauty pageant kids. 

An old bf recently popped up on my "People you may know" on Facebook I didn'tadd him but I did see that both of his nieces had FB pages and they looked like beauty pageant kids/streetwalkers in their photos. They are both under 10. I was horrified.

I've never seen Jersey Shore or Glam Fairy or anything like that. I have seen both T&T and 19 Kids (isn't it 20 now?) and Counting. Both make me upset/sad for the children, so I had a hard time picking which one is worse. The poor kids on 19 Kids and Counting have to raise each other, and the kids on T&T are taught that life is all about how you look. Both make me really sad.

I voted for Toddlers and Tiaras. I can't stand that show. I love Jersey Shore, so theres that.

Ahh, I'm not quite up to date on all the hoaxes. Especially when it really sounds like something certain people would actually do.

But yeh, its one thing when the child is old enough to make its own conscious decision. I think three or four is too young to be pulled into that world.

Heck, people even have beauty contests for their newborns. I mean really, yes, some babies aren't as cute as others... but do we need to be giving out ribbons to those blessed with dimples?

I've never heard of Jerseylicious (I don't think.. seems vaguely familiar) or Glam Fairy so I don't have any sorts of comments on them.

19 Kids and Counting doesn't piss me off half as much as Jersey Shore or T&T. I don't necessarily agree with everything the Duggars do, but at least they aren't COMPLETELY insane.. haha.

I voted for Jersey Shore because it's just so stupid. Even watching commercials for the show sucks my brain cells out. It just makes me irrationally angry that they make MILLIONS for acting like complete idiots! Getting paid to get wasted, get into fights, and sleep with everyone.. ugh. So so stupid. Is there even a POINT to half the shows on MTV anymore?

T&T is a somewhat close second. I don't mind the "natural" pageants. I get annoyed when the kids are full of spray tan, wigs, makeup, etc. Especially when they don't seem to want to be there. I'd never let my kid get into those glam pageants. Just sickening. One thing I DID like about the show though is an epsiode I saw with a little boy who loved pageants. I thought it was awesome that his mom let him do it, and he was adorable! Oh and this show does amuse me with the terrible kids names.. haha.

 Same. I watched the episode where they answered a bunch of questions and the one thing that stood out to me was when the older girls said they wanted their dad to pick their future husband, because he knows what they would like. Really?! It makes me sad that they don't seem to think they can pick out their own boyfriends. I just hope that if the kids choose some other way of life that the parents will still be accepting of them.
