I'm terrified!!

I'm 2 weeks from my wedding, and I'm in panic mode. I just got my dress from alterations. My dress is a halter style dress and the halter piece was shortened in alteration. They did what needed to be done but it has caused a lift and im showing WAY TO MUCH cleavage. I don't want to look inappropriate at the wedding but with just under two weeks, I dk what my options are.

Take your dress back to your seamstress and talk about options. You may be able to add a small modesty panel.

I agree with PP! I would take it back and see if you could get a modesty panel added--just a little something at the halter's "v" so it won't feel or look like so much cleavage.

Thanks ladies! The seamstress that did the origional work blew me off completely, so I have a meeting with another seemstress tomorrow. Let's hope we can figure something put!

they might be able to add more fabric to the halter to make it a tad longer i  went dress looking a few months ago at this bridal consigment shop they had a halter style that snapped together i told the women i dont like the halter neck but love the dress if i had bought it they would have taken the halter which was made of some kind of tule fabric and added more to it to make straps and a illusion sleve
