So the venue I booked, and put my deposit on, just called me. They said they were reading over my papers and saw my guest number and they just cannot accommodate that many people. I told them the lady I talked to before said it would be no problem, and that I had already toured it and it looked that everything would be a little tight in the reception hall, but it would all fit none the less. They said, no absolutely not and I needed to decide what to do. They said I would get my deposit back, and they are sorry. They also said if i can cut 80 people off my guest list it would all work. EIGHTY PEOPLE?!?!?! That is not doable, I have a a huge family (both my parents have 8 siblings) I am getting married in 298 days.. and I think I'm going to die. UGH
