(So how many AWs does it take in one morning to officially become a PW?) ;o)Had a lovely time at my shower on Saturday. FSIL (who's a BM) had planned the whole thing, and did a fantastic job. It was held at a country club where FI's dad is a member, and FSIL did a beautiful job of decorating. It was a relatively small group--about 20 or so--but that was perfect because it meant that I got to spend more time talking with each person. We're basically just doing family showers (the one in Pgh this past weekend for FI's side, and then one in Chicago this coming weekend for my side), and it was so sweet to feel the love from all of FI's family.

They were amazingly generous, and now we have to figure out where to put all the stuff we got! We didn't do any games or the traditional rehearsal bouquet, or any of that kind of stuff--which was just fine with me, because (despite what it may seem at the moment!) I'm not an AW IRL. ;o)The cutest thing was that there were 5 girls there between the ages of 6 and 10, and they were all SO excited to help me with the gifts--two handed me presents, one was in charge of the ribbons, one put wrapping paper into a trash bag, etc. And the big, wonderful surprise was that my MOH drove in from Philly for the shower (I had NO idea she was coming!), and even got up at 4am to do it, bless her heart! We hadn't seen each other since November, so it was such an amazing surprise (that FI, FSILx2, and FMIL were all in on!). And then it was great to be able to hang out with her for the rest of the weekend until she had to head back. =)No pics yet (MOH has them all on her camera, and hasn't sent them my way yet), but I'll post to FB once I have them.
