our wedding was a Catholic mass
we listed the parts of mass, and any readings/songs were listed; with who read/sang and who wrote it.
programs don't have to be too detailed.

I used the headings our Officiant had in the text of the ceremony, and also compared to programs from friends' weddings I had kept.
  • We wrote a script for our pastor (it was his first wedding he ever officiated, so we took a lot of my parents' script and combined with some stuff we liked on the internet). Then we took the headings for each section and put them in there. At the top, we had our names, date, time and place. On the back, we listed the wedding party, parents' names, officiant and organist.

    PRELUDE

    SEATING OF PARENTS

    ENTRANCE OF THE BRIDAL PARTY

    ENTRANCE OF THE BRIDE

    WELCOME AND BLESSING

    PRESENTATION OF THE BRIDE

    PRAYER

    SCRIPTURE READING                                                         Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Miss J.P.,  Sister of the Groom

    REMARKS

                                                    Pastor A.M.

    LIGHTING OF THE UNITY CANDLE

    STATEMENT OF INTENTION

    EXCHANGING OF VOWS

    BLESSING AND EXCHANGING OF RINGS

    ENGAGEMENT RING PROMISE

    BLESSING OF THE MARRIAGE

    DECLARATION OF MARRIAGE

    PRESENTATION OF THE COUPLE

    RECESSIONAL
