Need Help finding a dress for FMIL

So I went out with my FMIL yesterday to see if we can find a dress for the wedding. And let's just say plus size has very slim pickings. We went to Nordstorm Rack, Nordstorms, Macy's, Sears, Lord and Taylor and found nothing! We plan on checking out Dress Barn and JC Penney but other than that we are out of ideas.... anyone have any suggestions? TIA

Try Dillards, not sure if you have one but sometimes Cato can have dressier items. Also if you wait until closer to Easter there will be more out I know thta is going to cut it close but right now they are inbetween seasons and most things have been picked through.

My mom had better luck shopping online - Nordstrom, Macy's, and Boston Store all have expanded on line selections, free shipping, and we were able to return the not-quite-right dresses to their physical sotres.

Catherines might be a good bet if there's one in your area, although some of their stuff can be boxy/matronly IMO (as so many PS options can be), but there are some good finds if you really look.

Online shopping is a plus size lady's best friend. I personally prefer Macys. They usually do free shipping, have a good selection online, and if something doesn't work, it is super easy to return it in store.

I'd try Lane Bryant too, tons of nice short and long dresses have been coming in lately.

I've had good luck at Lane Bryant finding dresses for various occassions.  I've also bought dresses at TJ Maxx, Ross, and Dress Barn.

It depends on what you are looking for.  If you need something more formal, I suggest looking online or at David's bridal.
